| Full-on black nasty
oozing along the banks of Divide Creek. Zoom in on this weird
stuff till your heart's content. [06-28-08] P.S. I have no idea what the white orb thing is just above the first black nasty. The ground where the orb is was dry. Nearer to the seeping ooze, the ground was semi-damp. There are a lot of white, over-exposed areas in this photo, but the weird thing about the orb is that it has a kind of glow around it. Some folks say that spirits appear as orbs in photos. I believe I have experienced them (though not in photos) as almost spark-like flickers (but I didn't see this orb until I downloaded the photo onto my computer). I've never seen an orb in a photo taken by me, family or friends. However, a friend once took a photo of the cliff overlooking Summerhawk (this cliff was a one-time Ute burial and ceremonial site) and when he had his photo (old-fashioned-style) developed, there was a seriously bizarre whitish foggy shape of what looked like a hovering person in the photo. Anyway.... maybe someone was showing me this seeping ooze since I did only stumble upon it. On the other hand - maybe a mosquito flew in close to the viewfinder, goodness knows they were chawing me big-time today when I was collecting video footage.... |
